• Returns Returns are accepted within 30 days if the item arrives damaged or differs significantly from the description. Buyer handles return shipping. Original shipping and credit card fees are non refundable. If an item is damaged during transit, we’ll open an insurance claim and work with you on a solution.
• Payment We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, ACH, and Zelle.
• Local Pickup Local pickup is available by appointment at our warehouse in Monroeville, Ohio.
• Custom Slate Chalkboards Can I request custom sizes or finishes for slate chalkboards? Yes. Our real antique slate chalkboards can be custom cut to your specific dimensions and finished with your choice of stain or paint.
• Shipping Safety Will my piece arrive safely? We take packing seriously. Heavy items are secured on custom pallets with high density foam and rubber for shock resistance, and we disassemble light fixtures so each piece is packed individually and doesn’t shift in transit. Out of thousands of shipments, our damage rate has been virtually zero.
• Holds Can you hold an item for me? Yes. One of a kind items can be held with a non refundable down payment to make sure they don’t get snapped up while you finalize your plans.
• Sourcing Specific Pieces Do you offer sourcing for specific pieces? Pretty much. Whether it’s restaurant lighting for New York City or a twenty foot chalkboard for a schoolhouse in Texas, if you’ve got a specific piece in mind, reach out and we’ll see if we can track it down.
• Design Help I don’t have a designer; can you help me pick the right piece for my space? Absolutely. We work closely with architects and designers using blueprints to get the details just right, but if you’re doing it on your own, we’re happy to help you find the perfect piece to finish your room.  
• Where can I find authentic vintage industrial lighting for my home or business?
Old School Warehouse is your go to for authentic vintage industrial lighting. We specialize in rare historic finds like Holophane warehouse pendant lights and industrial factory and Barn light fixtures.
