Living and Working in History: Reimagining the Second Floor
What happens when you buy a vacant historic building? I turned a forgotten Ohio factory into Old School Warehouse, taking on my biggest repurposing project ever to transform the second floor into a unique industrial residential loft. See how we used architectural salvage and vintage resale finds to build a one-of-a-kind home.
Years Later Update: The story didn't end with the initial renovation. Years down the road, we survived a partial building collapse, which forced us to take down half of the structure. We rebuilt and even added a custom second-story patio to the residence, keeping the history—and the business—alive through it all.
