This authentic antique metal lithographed tin for Rexall Seidlitz Powders, distributed by the famous United Drug Co. of Boston, Massachusetts, is a wonderful and highly recognizable slice of early 20th-century home pharmacy history.

This larger counter-sized tin features its classic, iconic bright blue and white graphic design with bold, clean typography. Seidlitz Powders (an effervescent, fizzing laxative and headache remedy consisting of tartaric acid and sodium bicarbonate) were a standard staple in every family medicine chest during the late 1800s and early 1900s, and Rexall’s blue tins are among the most beloved and displayable examples of the era.
